Oberwerk 22x100mm
The new Oberwerk 22x100mm offers one of the highest performance/price ratios of any binocular on the market. Not only does it feature huge 4-inch objectives, it has broadband multi-coating on all air-to-glass surfaces, all-metal contruction, and a built-in aluminum mount- all at a shockingly-low price. An easy-to-operate center-focuser is used (rarely found on 100mm binoculars) which makes this model a great choice for terrestrial viewing, which typically involves frequent and wide focus adjustments. The large wide-angle (2.8° FOV) eyepieces have winged eyecups that very effectively block stray light. It has relatively long 18mm eye relief, so it can be used by those that wear glasses*. The weight is a very low 8.8 lbs., so many reasonably-priced mounting options are available, from a standard tripod/head, to the Unimount parallelogram mount. Includes ocular and objective covers, as well as an aluminum-framed case.
* To use the 22x100 with eyeglasses, order our replacement 15x70 eyecups. The 15x70 fold-down eyecups replace the winged eyecups, and fit perfectly on the 22x100 oculars.
