Oberwerk 100mm Binocular Tripod Adapter / Tripod Head
Either our tripod adapter or our tripod head is required to mount Oberwerk 100mm binoculars on tripods other than the factory wooden tripod. These are available exclusively from BigBinoculars.com. Works with any 3/8" tripod that can handle 26 pounds, such as the Bogen 475 or the Oberwerk Surveyor tripod. The standard adapter is machined from a solid block of aluminum alloy, and black anodized to match the binoculars. Choose the 15° offset shaft tripod head to allow pointing the binoculars straight up (as pictured on the right). There is enough range in the 25/40x100mm's built-in mount to point from zenith (straight up) to 10° lower than the horizon. The offset tripod head has a full nylon bearing surface for ultra-smooth 360° azimuth movement.
