It's especially well-suited for binocular usage because of it's taller max. height (70" or 74" with L adapter), sturdy construction, high weight capacity (8 lbs.), quick-release center column, and all-aluminum head with metal quick-release plate. Ideal for all Oberwerk models up to and including our 20x80mm "Standard".
