We've modified the beautiful hardwood tripod normally supplied with the Oberwerk 25/40x100 Long-Range Observation Binocular by adding a 3/8" machined aluminum plate with a 3/8" stud. Now this great tripod can be used with a variety of mounts and heads. Purchase with the Bogen/Manfrotto 701 HDV head or 501 HDV Head (as shown) and save $10. The wood can be upgraded to exotic jarrah hardwood for an additional $100. This combo is ideal for heavier binoculars, such as the Oberwerk 25x100IF.
