Kevin Kuhne's Oberwerk 45° 25x100
Here's what Kevin said about this binocular- "I just recently had a chance to go outside at night with the 25X100 I recieved from you. I must say I was impressed to say the least. The moon was a sight! Resolution and brightness was first rate. Zeiss made a 25X100 WW 2 binocular for anti-aircraft work at night. It has a 90 degree apparent field, (3.6 drgree true field), utilizing aspheric oculars that are inclined at 60 degrees. As a matter of fact the Zeiss 25X100 actually took the place of the giant 20-40X200mm that I sent you photo's of. The 200mm took too many man hrs to fabricate. Its the best 25X glass Ive ever looked thru. I must say that this 25X100 I got from you, (even though the field is narrower than the Zeiss 25X100), the overall performance is so close to the Zeiss that I was astounded by it." Note that this is not a BT-100-45, but the discontinued fixed-power predecessor. It does includes a BT-100-45 fork mount and tripod. Looks brand new except for some minor scratches on the bottom of the binocular. | |
