The Unimount Basic, from Universal Astronomics, is one of the least expensive parallelogram mounts available. Shares many of the parts from the top-of-the-line Unimount Deluxe, but has four degrees of motion, rather than six. Like the Unimount Deluxe, there is virtually zero slop or backlash. Comes standard with 10 lbs. of counterweight. Two versions are available- a "Standard L adapter" model for binoculars that have tripod adapter threading on the front, and a "Bottom mount" model for binoculars that attach at the bottom, such as the Oberwerk 20x80 Deluxe or Oberwerk 22x100mm.
