Universal Astronomics Unistar
The Unistar, from Universal Astronomics, is a simple offset alt/az mount, super-smooth and stable with up to a 30-lb. load, even though the mount only weighs 6 lbs! Perfect for any of the Oberwerk 100mm binoculars. This is a major improvement over the stock mounts at a very reasonable price. Easily view to zenith as the Unistar places the binocular away from the tripod. Due to significant offset weight this mount can handle, it works best on a very heavy duty tripod- so we strongly recommend the Oberwerk Heavy-Duty Surveyor.
NOTE: Universal Astronomics offers a wide variety of accessories for their products, so if you want to use this mount with other astro gear you may have, just ask.
